What we receive when you use CrazyPDFs

Documents and downloads

The tools process selected files in browser memory. CrazyPDFs does not receive or keep those files through the PDF tools. Your saved downloads remain wherever you choose to store them.

Site traffic and tool activity

Our hosting provider handles requests to deliver the site and may process technical information such as IP addresses and browser details. Our usage reports store daily totals for page views, browser-tab visits and completed jobs by tool and approximate country when available. We use them to see which tools are useful and where people use the site. The reports store no raw IP addresses, account identifiers, filenames, document contents or extracted text.

Support messages

When you email us, we use your email address and the information you choose to share to respond and investigate the issue. Sending a message is optional. Information you include is handled by our email service. Please leave confidential documents out of your message.

Accounts and payments

Creating an optional account requires your name, email address, country or territory, and a password. We store a password hash, use temporary codes for verification and recovery, and use a browser cookie to keep you signed in. Resend processes your email address and one-time code to deliver these messages. We use limited request counts to protect account forms from abuse. Free PDF tools remain available without an account.

When you choose Premium checkout, Stripe handles billing and payment details. CrazyPDFs links the Stripe customer record to your account to check access. Stripe can use your billing address to calculate applicable tax.
