Cookies and browser storage

A guide to what your browser keeps while you use CrazyPDFs.

Session storage for visit counts

CrazyPDFs uses a simple marker in the current tab to avoid counting each page as a fresh visit. It is not a unique identifier and is normally cleared when you close the tab. Usage reporting does not use advertising cookies. When you sign in, an account session cookie keeps you signed in for up to seven days or until you sign out. If your browser blocks storage, the PDF tools still work.

Cached resources and files

Your browser may cache site resources, such as scripts, fonts and the English OCR language model. Selected documents are held in memory while a tool is open. Files you choose to download are managed separately by your browser and device.

Manage browser data

Use your browser’s site-data settings to clear cache or storage. To remove a downloaded copy, delete it from the folder where you saved it.
